The EuroShrimp 2017 conference was our first event and in our opinion a complete success. During the two days not only the interesting lectures were in the foreground, we also attached great importance to the possibility to exchange ideas before and after the lectures. In addition, the boat trip through the Bremerhaven harbor contributed to the fact that speakers, organizers and participants could get to know each other better. The guided tours at the Centre for Aquaculture of the Alfred Wegener Institute also gave us the opportunity to present our research facility and to show you our main research areas.
Due to the positive feedback and the wish to stay in contact, we decided to maintain the network and to expand it if possible.
